Cabin Fever!

We love going camping and riding in the razors!
We were able do both these things with Uncle Mikey and Aunt Ashtin. We went up to her families cabin and spent a few days exploring and just enjoying being together.

Lots and LOTS has happened...

We are a baseball family, through and through. Our summers are not complete without at least one baseball game a week. And at those games this little dude always gets a ball. With a face like that though, who could resist.... :)
Sometimes Daddy's need a timeout too. Both had to sit there with their nose on their knee while they were thinking about what they did. Oh the joys of BOYS :)
Can't EVER resist a 'photo op' with this cute Mister!
Here the Boys are watching and learning about possibly on of the greatest movies of ALL time. Yes, that would be 'Princess Bride'. Right here they are being educated about the R.O.U.S's. Kadon really got into this part and was yelling at Wesley to "get 'em, he's behind you, look out."

Cousin Time

Cousins are the BEST! And when you get to spend ALL day with them AND then ALL night it makes for even more fun! Ben and Tana went away on their anniversary and asked if we would watch the kiddos.... Ummm, I didn't even have to think about that, OF COURSE we would! I love these kids as if they were my own! I seriously have the BEST nieces and nephews around! Kadon and Tye love playing with them and I love watching them play and interact. Family is such a wonderful blessing. I am so glad we live so close to most of our kids cousins. The relationships they build now will continue throughout their lives and into the eternities.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

The boys enjoying watching the game.
Tye being silly with Mommy.
Family Photo!!!
Daddy teaching the boys about the finer things in life.
We love Baseball in this house! It is America's sport and also our family's sport. Nothing like takin' in a game, eating hot dogs, nachos and cotton candy. Oh and I can't forget the dippin' dots!

FHE

We went up 4wheeling for Family Home evening. Took up dinner with us and drove up to the meadow then let the boys loose on the wheel.

Cousins

Tye and his cousin "LuLu" {Lucy}. They love each other. whenever they are around each other they are never apart. As you can see LuLu has her leg draped over Tye's and their heads are close together. Cousin love.

Happy 2nd Birthday Tyler!

Can't believe our little guy is 2 years old! Time sure flies when you are having fun! Tyler is such a sweet boy. When you look in his eyes you see wisdom beyond the ages. He has a desire to learn and will keep trying until he gets it. He NEVER gives up on himself. I hope that through life he will continue to have that same confidence in himself. He is a very smart boy. He sometimes struggles with things but can and WILL figure out a way around it. Tye's smile lights up a room. His eyes shine with such love and faith that it truly is humbling to be his mother. Tyler has taught me so much. I love him so much and am grateful to get to be his mommy.
We had a party for him at the park on Father's Day and got to celebrate it with Mari. What a fun time we had! We are so grateful for her and for the unconditional love she has for Tye as well as us. She is an example to us. We love her so much.

Easter 2012

We have lots of Traditions at Easter time that we do. First we dye Easter eggs. Then we make sure we have a new Easter outfit. (I LOVE that part! SHOPPING!!!) Then when Easter morning is here we have a lesson about Easter and what it is we are celebrating. The kids then get to find their Easter baskets that we hide and the eggs the Easter bunny left. We attend church and thank Heavenly Father for the wonderful gift of his son and his resurrection. Then it is off to Gma T's and Poppy W's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. My parents hide candy and eggs all over their backyard. Kadon loves this because the eggs are filled with money and he is so much like his dad! In fact he was trying yo sell his candy to his cousins so he could get more money.
I love Easter! There is something about Spring time, with the rebirth of nature and the resurrection of our Savior that brings peace and joy.

Ladies Men!

These 2 boys are completely "girl crazy"! Whenever these girls show up my boys go crazy! Kadon wanting to hold Lulu and Tye wanting all the attention from the older girls.

Happy 100th Birthday Oreo!

tWe had the cousins over to celebrate Oreo's 100th Birthday. It was so much fun! The kiddos pigged out on Oreos and milk.

Dax came for a visit and the boys LOVED it! They couldn't get enough of him. I think by the time he left he played every game at our house, was told every story, was pulled every which way, and had to smile for too many pics. We love Dax and sure so miss him.
