Bugs....

Kadon is fascinated with bugs. He loves to look for them, hold them and especially loves to scare mommy with them. He is usually very lucky and gets some good screams out of me. Yuck, bugs!

Brothers

These boys are "thick as thieves"! They are THE best of friends as well! Nothing makes a mom happier than watching her children play with and serve each other. Kadon is a very good big brother! He teaches Tye how to do things and is very patient as he learns. He loves him so much! He loves to read to him and snuggle either in bed or while they are watching a movie. He truly treasures his little brother. Tye is so enamored with Kadon. He will do whatever Kadon says and tries to do whatever Kadon does. When Kadon is gone playing at a friends house Tye sulks around the house asking for "budder". I hope they always cherish each other as they do now.

Some days are like this!

It's not all the time that Kadon has meltdowns. In fact he usually is very easy going and so much fun to be with. He is HILARIOUS!! He loves to take pics with me and always tells me he loves me. My most favorite thing he says is "I love you Mom. You are the BESTEST MOMMY EVER!". Life can't get much sweeter than that.

Sundays are SO fun here....NOT!

We had a really rough day at church. Kadon could NOT sit still or even whisper. He wouldn't listen and he was very defiant. As you can see in that bottom left hand corner. Usually this is not a big deal but Daddy has been working like crazy and is hardly ever home (cause work is CRAZY busy) so the boys stay up until he gets home so that they can spend some time with him. Well we had one of those late nights and this little boy couldn't take it. Grow up if you were disrespectful during sacrament meeting you had to come home and sit reverently on the couch for 10 mins. Well he had already had problems in Primary that I had to be called from my class to come and sit with him (10 mins) then for every time I had to stop him from doing something he shouldn't I added 5 mins. As you can see minutes quickly multiplied... 35 mins= NOT a happy boy
Tye on the other hand was angelic. We came home, I laid him down and less than 5 mins later he was out.
With only 10 mins left this dude succumbed to sleep....
It was a rough day but we made it through and we were all a little wiser from it.

Lots and LOTS has happened...

We are a baseball family, through and through. Our summers are not complete without at least one baseball game a week. And at those games this little dude always gets a ball. With a face like that though, who could resist.... :)
Sometimes Daddy's need a timeout too. Both had to sit there with their nose on their knee while they were thinking about what they did. Oh the joys of BOYS :)
Can't EVER resist a 'photo op' with this cute Mister!
Here the Boys are watching and learning about possibly on of the greatest movies of ALL time. Yes, that would be 'Princess Bride'. Right here they are being educated about the R.O.U.S's. Kadon really got into this part and was yelling at Wesley to "get 'em, he's behind you, look out."

Kadon's Testimony

Kadon gave a talk in Primary recently. It was about prayer. As we were discussing what prayer means, what it is, how we pray and what he'd like to say about it in Primary; we also discussed what a testimony was, what he believed and so on. We told him we would not write it down, he would say it from his heart as the spirit directed him. Above is what he said. I think he did a pretty good job!

"Holy Batman!?"

We went to the kids read fair down at the Gateway with the hopes of seeing some superheros. Well we only got to see Batman. By the time we got there they were starting to close down and we caught Batman just as he was leaving. Kadon was so excited Tye wasn't too sure. But as long as I was holding him he was just fine. {Isn't Tye's face so priceless!!! Makes me laugh every time I see it.}

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

The boys enjoying watching the game.
Tye being silly with Mommy.
Family Photo!!!
Daddy teaching the boys about the finer things in life.
We love Baseball in this house! It is America's sport and also our family's sport. Nothing like takin' in a game, eating hot dogs, nachos and cotton candy. Oh and I can't forget the dippin' dots!

"Pider-Man"

The boys got to meet their favorite superhero!

This is how I feel most days.... but won't have it any other way!

I think these speak for themselves.

I think these speak for themselves.

{HEART}

What can I say....My boys are pretty HANDSOME!!!! I absolutely love these pics. They truly captured each of the boys personalities. And I have to say the ones of them together make my heart burst. You can see how much they love each other and what they mean to each other.

Like Father, Like Son.....

These 2 guys are so similar. They have the same sense of humor, have all the same phrases, love hotdogs, think there is no better place than outside on a bike, think that life revolves around BYU and Baseball and the list goes on. I walked in to the living room one night and this is what I found..... Now I can add to the list that even in their sleep they mimic each other.

Mommy's Helpers....

I think this about explains it all...... And what you can't see is the mess they made when they "helped" me with the laundry by dumping their dirty clothes on the floors of their rooms. Couldn't get made at them for that. After all they were just "helping" me by reminding me to do laundry. Love these 2 boys!!

Scripture Power

Kadon loves to read the scriptures and will always remind us or encourage us when we forget. What an example he is to us. Now that he is starting to read he likes to read in the Book of Mormon at night to himself. This is a common finding when I get up to turn out the lights.

Baseball 2012

Kadon is playing Tball again this year and is so excited! He is on the Boston Red Sox and is loving every minute. He is such a good ball player! He can usually hit the first pitch the coach throws and when that bat connects with the ball it goes soaring. This is such a good sport for him because he is able to focus on the ball. Hopefully he will continue to love it as much as he does now. And it has always been my dad's dream to have one of his sons play baseball but that never happened and now he says he finally got his wish it just took a grandson to make it happen.
They are just growing up too fast. I grateful everyday for these two amazing boys.

Brothers. I love watching these 2 play with each other. They are so fun! There is such a difference watching them play together verses how they play with others. They love to jump on each other, wrestle each other to the ground, push each other around on the bikes or doing quiet thing together. What a blessing these two are in my life and in each others as well.
